Where Facebook is concerned, posts with images get 2.3 times more engagement then posts without. You're much more likely to notice and stop on a post with an image. Tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than without. Posts on Instagram with faces receive a higher level of engagement.
Stats show that online video will account for 80% of all online traffic by 2020. 200 years worth of videos are uploaded to Youtube every second. The first three seconds count - hook your viewers in. Consider what you're filming and your end goal.
Look out for special awareness days. Events that you can join in with. Hashtags that might be relevant to you. Consider seasonal trends.
What Platforms Should You Use?
All social media platforms are available to your business. Pick one, do it well, then master another. Don't be afraid to learn and try things out. Whether you use Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, LinkedIn, SnapChat.....the list goes on, have fun and be creative. You can use both Instagram and Facebook stories to appear at the top of feeds.

Canva is great. It can give you the correct image sizing and ideas to great image templates for your brand. Investigate using Facebook manager for your brand.
Get Your Content Right for Google
Be web savvy! Your website is your shop window, you'd be well advised to keep content up to date, change it up and share it on social media.
When creating a new page or blog post, don't be tempted to copy and paste. By all means, refer to sources of authority but reword content.
Make sure that you set up your web page properly with heading tags and correctly named images.
If you'd like to reach more people you can pay for Google advertising. Measure your success with a Google Analytics.
Simply don't underestimate that achieving success on the google search takes time.
Use an email platform to communicate with customers. You can use Constant Contact or MailChimp to keep your clients up to date with news and events. Get your stuff out there, talk to radio stations, become an expert in your field and don't be afraid to showcase what you're doing.
