Working for:
Leelo & Me Tea Rooms

Description:

An exciting opportunity to run your own Tea Room Franchise. This model can be situated in any area of the UK and already has a strong brand identity. The concept has been designed specifically for people who wish to run their own business alongside other commitments, such as a family, and as such the business runs with that in mind.

Just like a cake stand, there are 3 tiers to this Franchise so that you can adapt your role to your own lifestyle; Tea Room, Pop up Tea Room or both.

The Tea Room

For those wanting to run a Tea Room Establishment in their area, we will work with you in finding the right location and negotiating lease terms, whilst ensuring the correct footfall and market place for this model. For your investment, we will provide the full shop fit, marketing material and initial stock for you to launch.

The Pop up Tea Room

We already have strong links within the makers market community and have worked closely with a variety of large successful, well known brands, as well as on set for a number of national TV shows. For your investment, we will provide you with everything you need to get started, as well as training and skills to build relationships with large brands and corporate clients in your chosen area.

You can combine the above two into one large package, which will of course increase your revenue opportunity.

How often do you work?
5 days a week, sometimes more but mostly I am just on call the other 2 days.

How does the job fit around your family life?
I am able to spend time at the tea room when needed dependant on childcare, but I still obtain a profit even if I am not there as the staff manage the running of it perfectly in my absence. I mainly focus on building the brand in my area from home via online marketing and attending various meetings with potential corporate clients and attending networking events.

How much time do you commit?
Now that it is running and established, I work approximately 20 hours a week.

Where do you carry out your work?
Mostly from home, dealing with email and Facebook enquiries and creating new party enquiries, a lot of my work is telephone and online based, I usually spend a few hours a day at the tea rooms, approximately 4/5 days a week to make sure everything is running smoothly and all procedures are being followed.

Do you need a car?
For the Pop up Tea Room, yes. Not necessarily for the Tea Room

Do you get support/training?
Yes, full training and support is provided.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
It is the perfect business to work around my family and has been created specifically for that reason. You can utilise the tea room for many meetings and there are no limits on custom base. It is a business without a specific market, meaning there are no ends to what revenue that can be achieved depending on how much you put into it.

Do you advertise?
Yes, mostly on social media (Facebook and Instagram)

Are there any downsides to the role?
Staffing can sometimes be tricky, having the right staff is key.
