At The Strings Club, we have designed a range of rewarding franchise packages that enable you to start your journey with us at various stages and investment levels. Each package has been specifically created to offer flexibility, support and give you the lifestyle you really want and deserve.

Amy Cunningham, founder of The Strings Club explained to us, "As a busy mum myself, I understand it’s a huge undertaking and risk to jump straight into a new career - especially running your own business. I’ve been there! That’s why I created our Bronze package.  It is the perfect opportunity for individuals who are looking for a rewarding new part-time role with a great income and a work/lifestyle balance that can fit around any schedule."

Our Bronze package ensures that with our initial 10 step launch manual and training, regular support and all equipment delivered to your door, you can work part-time running your own Holiday Camps  in your own exclusive territory.

As one of the UK’s fastest growing childcare and music education franchises, we’re not looking for musical people but business-minded individuals with a passion for music and a driven, ambitious attitude towards running their own successful franchise.

Mum's view

Name: Amy Cunningham

Location: London

Family: I have a 4 year old called Anja

How often do you work?
During term time I work 1-2 days per week on our established territories (eg Hampstead, Islington, Tooting, Greenwich and Brockley). Due to our tried and tested model, we have an exclusive Operational Calendar that ensures we are always up to date with what we need to achieve on a weekly basis. So no more a million "to-do" lists!

How does the job fit around your family life?
The organising and work to set up the Strings Club Holiday Camps can be done during the quiet moments. There is an Operational Calendar which is really handy and things can be done as and when they fit in to the family day. Some of it is meeting and greeting, leafleting, staffing and marketing - all of which can be done whilst Anja is at school or when she goes to bed in the evening.

How much time do you commit?
I usually drop Anja off to school for 08:45am and head home to work. Sometimes I even get chance to go for a lunch-time walk or run before picking her up at 3:20pm.

Where do you carry out your work?
During the term time it is mainly at home on the computer or telephone organizing the marketing and advertising the Holiday Camps. There is some leafleting and a few meetings to tell other parents and schools about our services. During the Holiday Camps it is on site at the venue.

Do you need a car?
It's best if franchisees do have a car however it is not essential. We do have a fair bit of equipment for our Holiday Camps however there are other ways of transporting it such as asking a friend with a car or hiring a van driver.

Do you get support/training?
We regularly carry out training to our Head Office team or our team members that work across our programmes. Training ranges from safeguarding to marketing to first aid!

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
First of all, I know what it's like to juggle a million plates but by running our Holiday Camps up to 10 weeks of the year, a mum can earn up to 40K in the next 24 months - and that's all part-time. I don't think there is any other franchise that can offer this amazing opportunity, especially as it's so rewarding too.

Do you advertise?
Yes we have a range of advertising platforms that we know work really well for us. These include social media, our popular e-newsletter, leaflets via local schools and even local magazines. We love to offer our free Discovery Days - offering children the chance to have free access to playing an instrument and to watch a fun performance. These events always sell out so quickly!

Are there any downsides to the role?
I absolutely love my job. Seeing children develop not only their musical skills but also their wellbeing, confidence, communication skills really does mean a lot to me! What enables us to stand apart from other childcare providers is our focus on the development of every child that comes to us. We have welcomed over 30,000 children this year and so proud of this.
