Description:

We are looking for a Community Fundraising expert and a brilliant communicator - someone always one step ahead. You are independent - able to and empowered to work instinctively. You are perceptive - sensing what the next step should be. You are versatile and will have the ability to translate the Teenage Cancer story into rich content and compelling scenarios inspiring people to work with us. Above all, you naturally build rapport to quickly establish relationships and develop innovative partnerships.

You will share your knowledge and learn from colleagues across your region and the UK as a whole and will be a vital part of the charity’s largest team, ensuring we are brilliant and successful at what we do. We understand that although no two areas are the same, you will know how best to maximise your area’s potential to the fullest, and you understand the value and significance of outstanding supporter care.  You will be the delivery mechanism that will enhance our reputation, deliver an amazing experience and retain support in the longer term, be it at the finish line of a marathon or guiding a company through a COY partnership negotiation.

Teenage Cancer Trust has a new fundraising strategy and is investing heavily in new income streams to plan for the future. The remit of the Community Team has been streamlined and has responsibility for raising income from three key income streams: community DIY fundraising, Corporate fundraising and volunteer group fundraising.

Your role will be working across both East Anglia and the East Midlands with two relationship managers. But you all have your own KPIs and income target.
