Best suited to:
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a better work/life balance, to take on a new challenge alongside another job or for anyone wanting to start their own business with a highly respected and recognised company. Having an interest in sport and working with children is also a bonus!
How often do you work?
I try to have a couple of days off a week but as with anything, the more effort you put in, the more you get back. I’m not tied to a desk from 9-5 and therefore I have great flexibility when I choose to work.
How does the job fit around your family life?
The flexibility of the franchise was one of the reasons I decided to run this fantastic business. It allows me to do the school run and spend time with my family. I can structure my day around family life and work in the evenings.
How much time do you commit?
I commit around 25-30 hours per week.
Where do you carry out your work?
When not delivering classes, I work from home.
Do you need a car?
Yes, you will need a car for delivering the classes but also to get out and about for marketing, meeting coaches etc.
Do you get support/training?
Yes, the training I received from Rugbytots was incredible and the support offered is completely unlimited. Rugbytots has a really structured training programme and I felt completely ready to launch the business. They have also been awarded a five star franchise award for the last five years based on franchisee satisfaction.
Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
I would wholeheartedly recommend a Rugbytots franchise to other mums. It’s an extremely enjoyable, challenging and rewarding career which provides me with a much better work/life balance, whilst also being very financially rewarding.
Do you advertise?
Yes, Rugbytots head office provides substantial marketing training. I use a combination of traditional marketing, online methods (including social media) and more pro-active forms of marketing, such as leaflet drops and nursery marketing.
Are there any downsides to the role?
None so far!
