The Woodland Trust
The Woodland Trust is embarking on an ambitious partnership with Defra to plant 400,000 trees with our target schools over 4 years. We're looking for a Project Officer on a fixed term basis to promote the project across Central England.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for engaging eligible schools and ensuring that they apply for Defra funded tree packs where appropriate. You'll ensure that ambitious project targets are met by promoting the project directly to schools, and providing guidance on planting and aftercare where required.
With experience of promoting a project, product or service, you'll be able to build effective relationships with schools to persuade them to engage with the project and plant trees.
This is a part time position working across two full days and one half day per week, based at home. Regular travel will be required throughout the region as you'll be setting up visits to schools to promote and advise on the tree packs.
