We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

About The Role
The purpose of this role is to support the planning and delivery of our young people's group for young disabled people aged 14-18 years old. The Practitioner will be working alongside young people to actively use their views and expertise to co-develop, shape, and promote services.
Please note that this role is for 4 hours per week, for 42 weeks of the year only.
The successful candidate should have a minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and their families. Experience of working with parents and carers including providing support and guidance, and knowledge and experience of using creative methods and models of working with young people are a must. It is an essential requirements to be educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Childcare, Community work, Health, Education or Health and Social Care.
