KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.
We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

About The Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality child care and play opportunities for disabled children and their parents/carers accessing KIDS community groups in Birmingham. The Senior Practitioner will be responsible for developing an exciting environment where children can achieve and enjoy learning in line with the EYFS, SEND Code of Practice and OFSTED requirements.
Please note that this role is term time only, therefore while the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) salary is £20,598.00, the actual salary for this role will be £9,830.00 per annum.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working directly in an early years setting, and a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families. A level 3 qualification or above in Early Years is essential, and as this role involves extensive travel in the Birmingham area, a drivers licence is a requirement for the role.
