About The Role
A bus driver will be expected to provide safe transportation to children and young people, for school and public outings. The purpose of this role is to support and empower young people with disabilities/ additional needs to travel to school and outings in the school holidays. They would also be supporting care staff to ensure safe transition of young people to school.
This post is part-time working the following hours:
8.15 am - 10.15 am and 2.15 pm - 4.15 pm weekdays, 3 or 4 days a week and 10 am - 2 pm during school holidays.
The successful candidate must have D1 entitlement on their driving licence. They should have a willingness to carry out the bus run and transport young people and carers to school and outings.

We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

This role is based in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth.
