Name: Lucy Grant
Family: 2 children, ages 3 and 1 year
How often do you work?
7/8 classes over 3 days per week plus with the additional option of parties and events.
How does the job fit around your family life?
The job is really flexible. As it is my own business, I am able to structure the work around my childcare commitments. Programmes are 5 weeks long so I can plan any time off for holidays/term time as I want to and as my needs change.
Do you need a car?
I have a car as I travel with my equipment between venues during the day.
Do you get support/training?
Yes, I have received lots of theory and practical training - with observations and practice classes. All supported with comprehensive lesson plans - highlighting the links to children's development areas. I have also received not only training around delivering classes but ongoing support around the logistics of running classes, advertising and generally managing my business.
Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
My daughter and I attended classes and we fell in love with approach; from the content of the classes to the atmosphere created and Jenna's vision. Having enjoyed the classes so much I decided the time was right to join Jenna and start my own Baby Hub business. I can honestly say, it is the best decision I've made!
