Mum's view

Name: Hayley Jackson

Location: Cambridge

Family: I have two children

How often do you work?
It is really up to me when I work. The majority of classes happen on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I also operate after school clubs. However, I have a team of fantastic coaches that deliver the classes for me. Sometimes I can coach but it is completely up to me. I then fit in my admin around my child care commitments in the week.

How does the job fit around your family life?
After having my second child, I was determined to have a better work/life balance. Therefore, I was keen to run my own business but needed to be fairly certain that the potential earnings would cover what I was earning in teaching. I found Mini Athletics and have never looked back.

Do you get support/training?
The support is fantastic. Initially, i received 7 days of training which was more than enough to get started straight away. I then have the opportunity to Skype my Mini Athletics mentor from head office one a week if I need to.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
I would fully recommend a Mini Athletics franchise to people that want a good work/life balance and want to do something professionally and financially rewarding.
