Media Sales Manager

Intelligent Media is a creative publishing and events company involved in media-based marketing solutions across a range of sectors. Our areas of excellence and expertise include magazine publishing, digital publishing, events and contract publishing.
We are looking to grow our sales presence in the health and education sectors, and are looking for an excellent creative sales professional to help us achieve that. They will be an experienced and accomplished sales person who can offer ongoing sales support, initially in the area of business development, but quickly developing into recurring business, and therefore account management.
**THIS IS A FLEXIBLE ROLE - We are happy to support flexible or reduced working hours and to accommodate some remote working if necessary, although you would be expected to work from our Hackney office, regularly.**
You will need to be able to engage prospects in sales conversations that are likely to span a few weeks or months, with information being shared via email, phone and where appropriate, face to face. You will be selling across a range of mediums offering clients an integrated, cross platform marketing solution, so it's important that you are experienced at selling marketing and advertising solutions – we do more than sell a space on a page!
YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN
- Business sourcing and business development.
- Client communication and sales negotiation via phone and email.
- Face to face meetings and events.
- Managing and developing client relationships.
It’s a busy, target-driven, client focussed role, where business development is key, along with a consultative approach to selling, strong phone skills, strong negotiation skills and impressive sales presentation and closing techniques.

25-40 HOURS PER WEEK - TO BE DISCUSSED
Full Time Salary Range: £28,000 - £40,000 dependent on skills and experience. *Full time salary is based on a 5 day week, 9-6pm.
Standard Holiday allowance of 4 weeks, plus bank holidays. plus 3 days over the Christmas and New year period.
We also offer the option to take an increased holiday package of an additional 3 weeks - ask for details.

A sales professional who is looking to continue a career in consultative sales but with some reduced hours and/or flexible working. Happy to work autonomously where necessary. Hard working, tenacious and driven.
