POST TITLE: Individual Giving Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Income Generation & Development
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Development and management of long term fundraising streams from individuals / general public
TERM OF POST: Permanent
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 3 months
LEAVE ENTITLEMENT: 21 days annual leave per annum exclusive of Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service)
Established in 2000, Caudwell Children works to transform the lives of disabled children and their families, enabling them to challenge the barriers they face throughout childhood by providing practical and emotional support.
We are preparing to enter and exciting period of growth with plans to move into a new state-of-the-art Therapy and Research Centre, which will also serve as the Charity’s new Head Office.
The Caudwell International Children’s Centre will provide a focus for therapies, alongside an environment where ground-breaking research can be undertaken - potentially changing the ways some disabilities are treated, affecting millions of people around the world.
This transformational period also brings the need to develop our individual income streams to enable this growth, which all makes it a fantastic time to join this dynamic and fast-moving charity at a time when we will undoubtedly attract national and international attention.
PURPOSE OF THE POST
To create, operationalise, deliver and optimise Caudwell Children’s individual giving programmes in accordance with the current organisational strategy. This support will include cash appeals, general donations, online gifting, payroll and regular giving, mid-level gifts and other common fundraising pipelines (in memoriam, legacies etc.). The role will play also play a substantial part in increasing supporter engagement, in close collaboration with colleagues.
