DCH provides professional and innovative support services for young people, older people, homeless families, women who have been victims of domestic violence and people who have complex needs around substance misuse and/or mental ill-health.
Truro New Start is a project which provides accommodation and support for up to 20 adults who have complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness, chaotic life styles and mental health issues.
This role involves working evenings, sleeping nights and weekends and bank holidays to provide a safe, secure and supportive service. Experience of night and lone working is desirable and the ability to assess and manage risk is essential.
Are you able to work flexibly on a 3 week rolling rota between the hours of 6pm and 9am Monday to Sunday nights and Saturday and Sundays between the hours of 8.00am-9.00pm? If so, we want to hear from you.
£16,200 - £17,100 per annum

*There are no specific qualification requirements but individuals will be expected to be educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent. * Understanding of at least one of the following and an awareness of the associated risk management: Alcohol and substance misuse, Domestic abuse, Homelessness, Mental ill-health, Offending behaviour. *Experience in lone working * Computer literate
