Home-Based Part-Time Telemarketing Role for Translation Agency

We are a German translation agency aiming to expand into the UK market. Currently, we are looking for employees for a home-based part-time telemarketing role that will help us gain UK clients.
The role involves calling British companies sourced from an online database to provide basic information about our translation services. Should the company express an interest, they will receive an information pack by email or post. Calls are to be discreet and unobtrusive.
British English as mother tongue and a professional telephone manner are essential requirements. Previous telemarketing experience and an interest in languages and translation are desirable but not essential. Since the role is home-based, motivation, initiative and the ability to work independently are very important.
The candidate needs their own PC or laptop and Internet connection. A VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone will be provided for making the phone calls (all costs covered by the company). Access to a router is required in order to connect the phone.

The role is part-time and will consist of 1-3 shifts per week of approximately four hours, e.g. 9-13:00 or 13-17:00. This can be flexible, but the key requirement is that all calls must be made during UK business hours.
Payment is €10 per hour (approx. £8.95 at current exchange rate). We also offer commission should there be any orders placed as a result of your calls.
