Working for:

Hartbeeps offer musical multi-sensory classes for babies up to pre-schoolers, and our classes are magical! Whether it’s developing those all-important senses in newborns, helping older babies to acquire speech and movement skills or developing the imaginations of and confidence in pre-schoolers, Hartbeeps delivers it all!

I’m looking to expand my business, so I’m looking for people to come on board as session leaders, delivering classes to babies, children and their parents. No experience in this area is needed as all training is provided but you should have a genuine passion for babies and children, and if you can sing then that’s a definite positive (you don’t need to be an amazing singer but just be able to hold a tune).

Minimum 4 hours, up to 20 hours (dependent on how many classes you run) 9.30am – 1.30pm. 4 hours assumes you will run 3 classes across a morning.

Minimum £60 per day (this would be working from approx. 9.30am-1.30pm, running 3 classes).

Best suited to:
This role is perfect for anyone who is looking to make some extra cash doing an extremely rewarding job, which also fits in around the school run. You should love babies and children and enjoy singing. You will need to have a car and somewhere in your home to store props for the classes. Working location could be Bracknell, Ascot, Caversham, Twyford or Basingstoke, depending on where you're based.

How often do you work?
I work 3 days a week but as all the classes run in the morning, I’m usually completely finished for the day by 1.30pm, which is great as it gives me time to myself before the school run!

How does the job fit around your family life?
Working as a Hartbeeps Imaginator is brilliant, as I can drop my kids off at school before heading to my venue where I run my classes for the morning. I’m always there to pick my kids up from school and my kids love helping me get my props ready after school!

How much time do you commit?
Outside of running the classes themselves, I commit about 2 hours per week to planning my sessions and doing my registers.

Where do you carry out your work?
All the classes I run are local to me, so I don’t have to drive longer than 30 minutes to get there.

Do you need a car?
Yes, we carry a lot of props around with us!

Do you get support/training?
Yes, there’s loads of support and training, where you get to meet other Hartbeeps Imaginators. It’s like one big happy family!

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
Working for Hartbeeps is amazing. I get to do all the things I love – singing and hanging out with little people, whilst getting paid. It’s amazing watching babies and children grow and develop in your class, and I’ve made some pretty strong bonds with the children that come to my classes. It’s a really fun and extremely rewarding job!

Do you advertise?
I always have a stash of leaflets on me to hand out to any parents I come across when I’m out and about.

Are there any downsides to the role?
