Join an award-winning, family-friendly, supportive network and be in business for yourself, not by yourself!
At diddi dance we have been enhance children’s endless energy through funky, full of fun dance sessions that increase confidence, coordination & creativity in children under 5 years old for 15 years now! We are now looking for more motivated individuals to come onboard and help us expand further within the UK.
We are the only preschool dance provider that covers 16 different dance styles with lesson plans that enhance & compliment the EYFS framework. As an award-winning service provider & franchise company we are passionate about our mission – to get children moving!
diddi dance started in 2003 when founder Anne-Marie noticed a lack of preschool dance classes for children aged 16 months upward that allowed them to freely explore movement in a fun yet structured environment. In 2006, after diddi dance’s initial success, it was realised that a flexible business opportunity for individuals wanting to find that perfect work/life balance was also possible.
With a proven franchise system that has been running for over 10 years, more than 40 franchises running across the UK, accreditations & endorsements from both the Children’s Activities Association & Exercise Movement Dance UK and more than 10 franchise industry awards we have found our franchise opportunity works perfectly for individuals who want to be in business for themselves, not by themselves.
Whatever your previous work or business background, our franchise package suits any highly motivated individual who has the passion & drive to run their own business and make it a success, but just need the assistance & guidance in setting up one where the financial returns are high for a low set-up costs.

Investment Required:
Our franchise fee is £4,995 + VAT and you will also need enough cash to support yourself and your business during the set-up phase. If you should need assistance with funding we are already approved by some of the top business loan providers.

Franchisees have the flexibility to determine their own business hours. Most work within school hours, however, the programme allows expansion upon this. Over 70% of our franchisees are parents who wanted that perfect work/life balance & with us are finding it. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who loves working with toddlers but also wants that perfect business to suit their lifestyle.

Depends on the number of hours you work and classes you teach, over £24K in turnover is achievable in your first year with the potential to earn up to £95K turnover in your fifth year!

We're also proud to be members of the www.childrensactivitiesassociation.org giving you further credibility.

Best suited to:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have the passion & drive to run their own business, but just need assistance & guidance in setting one up. You don’t need to be a qualified dance teacher to be a Franchisee. At diddi dance we don’t teach technique but the enjoyment of dancing. So we're looking for the people with the right attitude & enthusiasm to engage preschoolers.

How often do you work?
Every day!

How does the job fit around your family life?
diddi dance fits into our lives really really well. It was the school holidays which were becoming a major strain for me as my eldest has Autism and finding suitable care was and still is a massiv problem so now I don’t have to worry as I can look after him myself, it is brilliant. I love it!

How much time do you commit?
So far I am out teaching three mornings myself and do admin time for about 5 hours during the day and then most evenings but that is just me! I often fit in some emails early morning and reply to people when I am out and about to keep things from building up. I have to make myself not check my emails and take a break.

Where do you carry out your work?
In hired halls for my classes and I do my admin at home.

Do you need a car?
Yes - especially in if you are in an area where public transportation is sparse.

Do you get support/training?
Very much so, we are encouraged to be our best and given lots of information to read to help us improve, webinars, manuals and we have continual support not only from head office but from other franchisees also which is great. It feels very much a team and that we are working together to promote diddi dance but just in different locations.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
I would really encourage Mums into a diddi dance franchise. If you are driven, not afraid of working late nights, keen to make a success and willing to work hard then this could be for you. At the end of the day it is down to you no matter how much support you receive you are responsible for the end result. You can have a family life and run a business all at the same time!

Do you advertise?
Yes - everywhere!

Are there any downsides to the role?
It is constant, despite being flexible in the hours I choose to take classes and do my admin, you have to be prepared to get enquiries at any time of day and night or for the phone to ring. Some people may want to leave work in the office but with your own business it becomes part of your daily life.
