Crafty Cooks

Crafty cooks are looking for people to join the company and teach children what food is all about. Classes are run termly for children aged from 2 years old. It is predominantly a pre-school cooking club but parties and after-school clubs also work well for older kids.

You will make a different recipe each week with the children (Mums being present) and talk them through what we do and why, then whilst the food cooks you'll spend ten minutes teaching them about where our food comes from, how we grow or make it and let them do some experiments or taste tests.

Investment Required:
Startup fee of £3,495 to cover equipment costs, manual and CRB in addition to this you will need a first aid certificate and health and hygiene certificate if you don't already hold one.

You will receive your own territory, branded equipment, lesson plans, activity plans, recipes and activity cards to enable you to run your own Crafty Cooks business.

Entirely dependent on the franchisee but a minimum of four classes per week during term time.

Really depends on your hours and work, from £25ph for classes and £100ph for parties.

Best suited to:
Crafty cooks is looking for fun, energetic, and patient people who love children and cooking! The most important quality is to be able to interact well with children from as young as two, to be able to get on their level and teach them recipes in a fun way, and also take control to keep the classes fun and structured. Cooking skills are also important but secondary to the child skills.
