How often do you work?
I currently run classes 5 mornings a week and have taken on a class leader to help me.

How does the job fit around your family life?
I am so lucky to do what I do, as my work fits in perfectly with my family and our day to day lives. I planned my classes so that they run in the mornings and allow me to drop the kids off and be there to collect them at the end of the day. As the work is term time I also get to spend lots of quality time with them over the holidays which I would never get with an office role.

How much time do you commit?
I have committed a fair amount of time advertising and promoting my business, but you have to when you start out. Things are slowing down a bit now due to all that I have learnt through the process of staring up from scratch.

Where do you carry out your work?
I run music and sensory classes across Surrey and Hampshire. Mainly in local village halls, soft play centres, nurseries and preschools.

Do you need a car?

Do you get support/training?
Yes, we have a fantastic team at our Head Office who are very supporting and provide thorough training with the systems we use.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
If you are looking for that ideal job that fits in with your family, look no further. You get to be creative in a rewarding job which works around childcare.

Do you advertise?
Yes, I actively promote my business on both Facebook and Instagram. Also in and around my class locations through flyers and posters.

Are there any downsides to the role?
Not really, I so love what I do. I get to sing, dance and be a silly big kid with the best audience I could ask for!
