    Mum's view

    Name: Anna

    Location: West Molesey

Family: Hubby is James and my daughter Eleanor who is 4 and is at reception in school.

    How often do you work?
I plan my week ahead on a Sunday evening and all my business activity is based around what family commitments I have in place for that week. I will work my business mainly Monday to Friday, but will not turn away any business at the weekend. If I am having family time, I will find an appropriate time to respond to either a customer or one of my team . It's my business and my customers are key.

How does the job fit around your family life?
As I recently gave up up my full time career in London, I am happy to now be able to work my business from home and around my family commitments. I choose my hours based on whatever I have planned for that day, but I always touch on my business daily to keep consistency and momentum. Sometimes it can be a full day whilst Eleanor is at school, or a couple of hours catching up with customers.

How much time do you commit?
When I used to work full time in London, it would be around 5 hours a week. Now that I am home based and have time for all my family commitments, I can commit 15 hours plus per week. I love the freedom and flexibility in this business.

Where do you carry out your work?
From home, mainly, but also when I am out and about either with groups or when I am meeting new people, when I am with family and friends as they all love to test the products and give me valuable feedback.

    Do you need a car?
It's not essential at all to work this business. Of course if you can drive and have access to a car then that is useful for getting out and about and arranging to drop off customer orders, or attend trainings and business presentations locally. However most of my orders are sent direct to my customers via my website shop link they can access or when I place an order for them.

    Do you get support/training?
Yes. Forever have global award winning training for all their distributors. You can get access to so much training whether it be attending national seminars, business presentations in your area, weekly online team trainings, informative training websites. There is literally always someone on hand to help answer questions and help support you through your business journey.Forever are so supportive.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
The freedom that this business can give you is a breath of fresh air. You get out what you put into your business. It is something you can call your own and no one is telling you what and where to be. There is so much support for you and it could change your life and for your family. You just have to open up to the possibility that this could be the opportunity to make that happen. Nothing to lose

    Do you advertise?
Yes on an ad hoc occasion, but the majority of time, I use all the amazing materials and information that the company gives us access to. I promote on social media platforms, I email my customers with information, send out brochures or share links with customers. The best form of advertising is word of mouth and from myself. I use the products, so can easily tell people about the benefits.

Are there any downsides to the role?
Honestly? It may be when people say no to buying a product, as we're human and can take it personally. However, I've had way more yeses than no's, and the no's are pretty normal. It has never stopped me from reaching out to new customers. Not everyone buys when they walk into a shop, but may return another time. Sometimes, people need time & info before making a decision to try or buy a product.
