As a Product Advisor at White Stuff, you be responsible for providing outstanding service to the people who visit our lovely new shop in Marlborough!

You'll get to know our customers really well, know what suits them, what they'd like and how they like to be served. You'll know your stock package inside out, be able to identify bestsellers, and help our customers build outfits that they'll want to wear and wear, and keep them coming back for more!

• £5.80 per hour which the potential for increases as your work through our competency levels;
• Monthly bonus of up to £50 if store hits sales targets;
• 50% discount (yes 50%!) after 1 months service;

Multicultural, Social and Disability Book Field Sales Agents - Part-Time

Poppy's Books - looking to recruit across the UK

Poppy's Books is a Norfolk based business selling a wide variety of children's books from an excellent range of publishers such as Frances Lincoln, Evans, Priddy Books, Random House and Walker Books. The company specialise in multicultural, social and disability issue books and are looking for field agents to sell directly to preschool environments. Dual language books are also being added to the portfolio.

The role: Agents usually make appointments by phone and arrange a visit to demonstrate books. Visits can last from 20 minutes to an hour and 2 or 3 visits can be made in a morning or an afternoon. There is no hard sell involved, preschools have a requirement for the books Poppy's Books supply, they simply do not have the time to source the books themselves.

A kit of books is supplied to agents at a cost of £100 or a larger set at £150. Catalogues will be supplied to supplement sales. Agents will take orders at each visit. Commission is paid at 25 - 35% with free delivery.

Candidate skills required: Agents are expected to read the kit books and know all the selling points for the books that they are supplying, so you will need to have a passion for reading and an interest in books. You'll need to have good time management skills; by arranging 3 visits in one area, there is less time spent in driving to different districts.

Hours: Agents can decide which days they want to work and only book visits for those days, or mornings. This is a very cost effective way of working. Please be aware it is very unlikely that you will be able to take young children with you on visits. It is much harder to sound professional if you are having to keep an eye on your children at the same time. This role is ideal for parents with a child at preschool or with older children.
