Posted: 21st Feb 2017 Closing: 21st May 2017
Debutots is a unique blend of interactive storytelling and dramatic play for children aged 6 months to 7 years. In exploring our stories vocally and physically we facilitate children's literacy and communication development. They speak, listen, imagine, observe and do.
Franchisees benefit from a diverse customer base including: nurseries, schools, after–school clubs, children's centres, local councils, libraries and parents with their little ones in local venues. Our classes have been expertly created to support National Curricula and our accompanying class resources are highly valued by parents and teachers.
The Debutots franchise offers a genuine opportunity to work around your lifestyle: never miss another school concert; always do the school run and be at home for the holidays.

How often do you work?
I work Monday to Friday most weeks between 14-18 classes a week, but keep a couple of afternoons free for my son until he starts school full time in September.
How does the job fit around your family life?
I love Debutots, as I have been able to build the business around my family and work when and where I want to. Being my own boss gives me flexibility and I can catch up on paperwork in an evening when the children are in bed.
How much time do you commit?
I have full working days Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with half days Wednesday and Friday and I also work the odd weekend doing parties. I tend to complete preparation and paperwork in an evening when required.
Where do you carry out your work?
I currently do a range of classes within local schools and nurseries. I work with 17 local settings at the moment, some weekly, bi-weekly or monthly including working with children with special needs.
Do you need a car?
I use a car to travel between classes
Do you get support/training?
I received a comprehensive training package when I started with Debutots and have on the job support as required. Charlotte the owner of Debutots is always on hand via email or over the phone if I need any help or advice.
Would you recommend this opportunity to other mums?
I would highly recommend Debutots so anyone looking for a fun and engaging way to work with young children. I didn’t have a background in childcare or education but a passion for young people is required and a fun nature. It’s important to remember this is not a ready made business but a brilliant opportunity. It does require hard work and dedication to build up contacts and contracts.
Do you advertise?
I advertise on Netmums, a local mums website called Mumbler and on Facebook
Are there any downsides to the role?
None for me, Debutots has been everything I imagined and more. The stories are wonderful and allow me to be creative with the children and offer something unique and inspiring. I can work as much or as little as I choose and build a profitable business around my family life.
