Small Charities Coalition
Small Charities Coalition represents more than 7,000 members nationwide. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Social Media Volunteer to help maintain our social media platforms and disseminate useful information to our members and the wider charity sector. The volunteer will monitor and update a range of social media channels and support the Communications & Events Manager in the development and delivery of the social media strategy. Role includes:
- Maintaining platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Youtube
- Increase our social media activity posting information relevant to our members & commenting when necessary
- Increase networks & expanding our reach across all social media channels
- Engage with members
Flexible: approx. 1 day/7 hrs per week. London (Elephant & Castle) - remote working possible.
This is an unpaid position but out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. travel and lunch) are reimbursed.

We’re looking for someone who has a real interest in social media, has experience in social media channel effective social media strategy online networking and would like to volunteer their services.
