We are looking for a volunteer to assist our fast paced Finance Department. You would be base with our Finance team and will be responsible for general finance operations including data entry, invoicing and dealing with tenants’ accounts. The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach; feel comfortable working as an active member of a small team and be familiar with accounting systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Input data into the Finance & Housing system
- Checking tenant accounts
- Answering queries
- General office duties such a data entry, photo copying and printing
- Support the team in answering telephones and taking messages
- Maintain administrative systems and update where necessary
- Input & printing invoices
We are looking for someone who can spend 1 – 3 days with us for 3 to 6 months. We can be flexible with days. Our core volunteer hours are Mon- Fri 9.30-4.30pm.
Voluntary role - We reimburse genuine out of pocket travel expenses (London Zones 1-6) to and from the place of work and up to £4 for lunch expenses. (Please note: expenses will be reimbursed against receipts only).
