ADVERTISING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Definitions

  1. The Advertiser means the person/company/agency who has booked the space and is responsible for payment.
  2. The term Publisher refers to Mum and Working Ltd

    3. All advertisements are subject to the following conditions.

  3. All orders verbal or in writing made by the Advertiser will be confirmed in writing (electronically is acceptable) by the Publisher.
  4. The Publisher reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, amend or otherwise deal with all advertisements accepted by him at his absolute discretion and without explanation.
  5. Advertisements will only be accepted subject to the content being in accordance with the website.
  6. The Advertiser specifically undertakes that any advertisement booked:
    1. Shall not contravene any English Law or Act of Parliament
    2. Shall conform with the British Code of Advertising Practise as stated by the Advertising Standards Authority
    3. Shall be original to the Advertiser and shall not be illegal or defamatory or infringe the Copyright or other proprietary right of any third party.
    4. Shall be legal, decent, honest and truthful.
  7. The Advertiser shall fully indemnify the Publisher against any claim whatsoever (including legal and other costs and expenses incurred in dealing with any claim) arising from the publication of any advertisement.

    8. Rates

  8. The Publisher reserves the right to increase the advertisement rates at any time for new bookings.

    9. Cancellations

  9. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing and must be received two weeks prior to campaign dates – otherwise the Advertiser will be invoiced for 25% of the booking value.
  10. Should cancellations occur on a series booking surcharges are liable to be levied.

    11. Payment Terms

  11. Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice.
  12. Any queries concerning an invoice must be raised within 10 working days of the invoice date.
  13. If payment is not made in accordance to the terms outlined above, the outstanding and all other amounts shall become immediately Due and Payable. Mum and Working shall be entitled to
    1. Charge interest on the outstanding balance at the rate of 4% above Barclays Bank PLC Base Rate, or at such other rate as is permitted by law, from the date the invoice became due until the date it is paid in full.
    2. Charge and administration fee of £25 if any Cheque is drawn in its favour by the Advertiser in purported satisfaction of any unpaid invoice is dishonoured on presentation.
    3. Instruct a debt Collections agency to recover any sum due and in that case all charges incurred by the publisher as a result of such instruction shall be payable by the Advertiser.

    15. Other

  15. All prices quoted are subject to variation as a result of Government taxes and levies.
  16. Conditions which are contained in order forms other than those of the publisher and which do not conform to or are in addition to the Publisher's conditions will not be recognised as binding. Special conditions must be subject to mutual agreement.
  17. All orders are accepted at the Advertiser's risk, the Publisher cannot accept any responsibility for loss of user traffic or ineffectiveness owing to circumstances beyond its direct control.
  18. Response to any advertisement placed is not guaranteed. Mum and Working cannot be held responsible for advertisement performance.

The placing of an order will be deemed to be an acceptance of all above conditions and shall be an express term of any contract.
