Average number hours a week: This will depend on both how much you want to work and how many appointments you can book

How often do you work?
I mainly run parties in evenings, but sometimes I'll go round and show a group of Mums the jewellery during the day when all our kids are at School. Also, sometimes I'll run lunchtime parties in local offices.

How does the job fit around your family life?
Usually I am out when the children are in bed during the evenings and either my husband or my Mum are there to look after them. I only ever work in the day if its when the children are at School.

How much time do you commit?
It will depend on how many appointments I can make - on average its 2-3 a week.

Where do you carry out your work?
At people's houses, Offices, School events - anywhere I can!

How much space do you have?
My kit is small and I usually keep it in the boot of the car.

Do you need a car?
I drive - but I don't think its essential

Do you advertise?
Not really. I'll sometimes have a blitz and put up posters in playgroups and Schools.

How did you hear about the job?
My best friend sells Virgin Cosmetics and I didn't really fancy that, but when they brought out the Jewellery collection last year I knew 'that's the one for me!'

Do you get support/training?
My manager is amazing - she's always sending inspirational emails and if anyone is struggling to get parties or make sales she has 1001 ideas to boost you! The bigger team at Head Office and area managers etc are also good.

Are there any downsides to the role?
No

Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums?
I love it - so yes!
