How often do you work?
9.30 to 1.00 and Thursday 9.15 to 2.30, 12 classes, term time only.

How does the job fit around your family life?
Great, I only work when the children are at school, so it doesn’t affect their lives at all, and they all think it is great fun, when I let them have a go.

How much time do you commit?
On top of the classes, about an hour a week, preparing for that week, and approx 4 hours a month, sorting classes, preparing booking forms, advertising, answering phone inquires and e-mails. But I do most of it in the evenings when the children in bed.

Where do you carry out your work?
Home and a church hall in Farnborough, Hampshire.

How much space do you need for your kit/stock?
I keep my instruments, CD Player and any props needed for the schemes under my stairs.

Do you need a car?
Yes if you are going to work away from your home.

Do you advertise?
Yes, lots

How did you hear about the job?
Through attending another Agent’s classes, with my middle Son, Sam who loved it, and my Mum saying why don’t you give this a go, so I did.

Do you get support/training?
Yes great training before you start and as much support as you need.

Are there any downsides to the role?
The classes and the children are so much FUN it is sometimes hard remembering it is a business when dealing with parents, paperwork etc.

Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums?
Yes, because it fits around the family, whatever their ages, and I have done to a friend who is now an Agent and also loves it.
