How often do you work?
Everyday if I wish but always at times to suit me and my family.
How does the job fit around your family life?
It fits in perfectly as you're self employed so can choose your working hours to suit you - I'm able to plan my day so that I can take my kids to and from school and can take time off during school holidays as well.
How much time do you commit?
As much as it needs, as everyday is different.
Where do you carry out your work?
I am based at home but go out to others homes in my local area as well to chat to my team or show off the brochure.
Do you need a car?
No.
Do you advertise?
Yes in local papers and shops, I also have a website www.ukavonreps.co.uk but I mainly rely on word of mouth
How did you hear about the job?
I read about it in the local paper and thought, I would be good at that!
Do you get support/training?
I now have a huge team of Avon Ladies who I support and train with meetings, chats over coffee and newsletters. I also get great support from Avon.
Are there any downsides to the role?
No!
Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums?
Yes Avon has given me the chance to stay at home with my son and fit my job around his and our life. Excitingly Avon has also given my husband the opportunity to give up a Full Time cooperating Manager role to join me working from home - we are now an Avon couple!
