Aromatherapy products
How often do you work?
Usually I book about 4-5 demonstrations a month. During the lead up to Christmas it can get much busier and it might be more like 2-3 a week
How does the job fit around your family life?
Its fine - I do demonstration parties mainly in the evening, but sometimes do parties for Mother and Baby groups during the day when Florence is at School - or if she's at home I'll take her with me
How much time do you commit?
About 8 hours a week I guess, although it doesn't feel like that much
Where do you carry out your work?
Generally in people's houses
How much space do you have?
My kit doesn't take up much room at all
Do you need a car?
I think you do need one in order to grow your business. It would be hard to make a success of it if you couldn't travel to parties
Do you advertise?
Yes, I have put posters up in Playgroups and my local doctors
How did you hear about the job?
From researching on the Internet
Do you get support/training?
My initial training was from my direct Manager who is brilliant. You also attend Basic Aromatherapy and Get Started training before you begin demonstrating on your own. Plus you go to an observational demonstration and have a Launch demonstration which is run by another Consultant to show you exactly what to do! Likisma is good at supporting their consultants with lots of opportunities for more training and local level meetings
Are there any downsides to the role?
No
Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums?
If you feel passionate about the product and can get that across to other people then its really easy to get people enthusiastic at parties! Also, Likisma is different to some of the other beauty products you can sell from home as they don't charge you for lots of things the other companies do (like gifts for party hostesses, delivery and stationary) which makes it even easier to make good money
