Candles and accessories
How often do you work?
I usually do about 2 parties a week - leading up to Christmas I am really booked up.
How does the job fit around your family life?
Its very easy - I run parties in the evenings and leave the children with my partner.
How much time do you commit?
Each party takes about 2 hours from unpacking boxes to packing them away.
Where do you carry out your work?
Either at my house or at other people's houses.
How much space do you have?
I keep stock in my hall cupboard...but also have items from the PartyLite range all over my house!
Do you need a car?
Yes - I think its essential really as some of the items are fairly heavy.
Do you advertise?
I have put up posters all over the place - for example in local church halls where I know there will be various captive audiences!
How did you hear about the job?
My Mum had a show at her house and I went along. My daughter convinced me that PartyLite was right for me and would be fun to do and I haven't looked back - that was 3 years ago!
Do you get support/training?
There is always on-going training available.
Are there any downsides to the role?
No
Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums?
Yes - I have tried a few of the 'work from home' opportunities and this is the one that has fitted round my family best and that I have enjoyed the most. Its flexible and I love the products!
