What is the business? We are a home based business, running entertainment at children's parties. Starting part-time the business can be maintained as a low key addition to family life or built into a full-time opportunity. We offer a variety of parties for all children between the ages of 3 and 12.
Investment required: There are two entry levels at around £2,500 and £6,000. Both include training in running a business, marketing the opportunity and entertaining at parties (either for you or for your staff). The initial outlay also includes a full Equipment Package, a Materials Pack for your first group of parties, a Stationery Pack and your first annual Insurance.

We have arrangements with some of the major High Street banks and loans can be arranged to cover up to 70% of this initial outlay, subject to status.

Earning Potential:

As an example, if you run four parties per week, your turnover could be around £30,000pa, with profits in the range in the range £10,500 to £15,000. Larger Franchisees have achieved a turnover of nearly twice this figure.

The potential of the business will depend on the amount of time you want to devote to it and the flexibility you want to retain. We estimate that one party per week will require you to spend an average of 2 to 3 hours, spread throughout the week, plus staff time at the party.

Limited time at present / Expansion potential

If time is limited at the moment, this is a great way to start a small occasional business where you decide when you want to run parties. If you then want to expand, the potential is available to do so. You can buy additional territories to develop further if you choose to.

Occasionally, as with any Franchise, there are opportunities to buy established businesses when circumstances change for individual Business Owners. We currently have a resale opportunity in one Buckinghamshire territory
Is there training/support for franchisees? You will be offered training in all aspects of the business before you start. This includes in-field training as well as in-house courses.

We also hold regular meetings with Franchisees during the year to roll out new ideas and to review the progress of the business. In addition, we aim to develop a business plan with each Business Owner on an annual basis, with regular reviews during the year.

Staff involved with Training, Marketing and Operations can be contacted during the week. A complete range of stock and equipment is available when needed.
Best suited to: This business is ideally suited to someone who wants to dip their toe in the water and run their own business for the first time. By keeping our start-up costs to the minimum, we have taken away much of the initial risk. Most Franchise Owners cover this initial outlay in 6 to 9 months. In the longer run, this starter business can develop with you and can be grown on to become a substantial Franchise business, if you want it to.
