This month we talk to Heather Tarrant an Independent Director with The Pampered Chef.  Heather is a mum of 2 young children who has a flexible yet rewarding job that brings in a meaningful income.

What is The Pampered Chef?

The Pampered Chef is an American direct selling company which started in the US over 30 years ago and has been in the UK for 12 years helping families prepare quick, delicious meals.

Our products are available exclusively through our team of Independent Pampered Chef Consultants who demonstrate the products and bring them to life at in-home Cooking Shows.  Guests learn time-saving cooking techniques and sample great-tasting, easy-to-prepare recipes — all in a relaxed atmosphere with good friends, plenty of laughter and lots of fun!

Why join The Pampered Chef?

You can experience the rewards of:

·     Earning a meaningful income, getting free products and earning Fiv e Star holidays!

·     Having the flexibility and freedom to work when you want to whilst working from home.

·     Being there at the school gates to pick the children up, going to school sports days, parents evenings etc.

·     Having fun and meeting others

·     No deliveries – a national courier does the delivery for you!

·     No stock holding.

How much will it cost me?

Unlike some home-based businesses, The Pampered Chef has a very reasonable start-up cost.  For an investment of £110 you will receive the Super Starter Kit containing over £350 worth of products (£60 for the small kit with £150 worth of products).  You only need 1 show booking to get started so why not do what most people do, and just go for it! That’s what I did and now I have done almost 100 shows!

I’m not a very good cook, does that matter?

You don’t have to be a professional cook to do this job well.  If you can chop and mix, you can do it as our recipes are designed to be thrown together and guests are encouraged to join in to create simple but spectacular results.

What training and support is available?

At The Pampered Chef we provide fantastic business support, on-going training, and career development to help you make your business succeed.  We have regular team meetings and training sessions to keep you up-to-date, give you networking opportunities and to ensure you are well-motivated.

What hours would I have to work?

Pampered Chef Consultants can work whatever hours they like to fit with their family and their individual lifestyle.

What hours do you tend to work?

I spend a couple of hours during the day making team support calls and customer care calls and 1-2 evenings a week doing shows. This leaves me plenty of time to be with my family and the flexibility to be at the school gates to drop off and pick up my children.

What would you do with an extra £240 - £300 per month for 1 evenings work a week?

This is the income you could realistically earn by swapping 4 nights watching TV on the sofa for doing 4 cooking shows per month (Figures based on UK average)!  Increase your income further by booking more shows or building a team of people like I have and your earnings will increase further to £500 - £800+ per month!
