My Secret Kitchen cooks up a storm at the BBC Good Food Show!

My Secret Kitchen(www.mysecretkitchen.co.uk) had a great time last month at BBC Good Food Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham. "It was our first ever show" said the company co-founder Phil Moran "the response was incredible, we watched as people faces lit up when they realised what the business was all about."

The company's idea is pretty simple. Produce a range of great tasting, unusual foods and ingredients that have a number of uses to them and sell them directly into peoples homes via tastings, with the help of a number of independent, like-minded consultants. The products come ready to use, or require the addition of just one or two other ingredients. The range is made up of a core selection of items, such as the Beer Bread Mix and Chilii chocolate fondue. These are complemented by seasonal products that are introduced twice a year. All products are free of artificial colours or flavours and the company strongly believes in an authentic, sustainable spirit of business.

The five day event has left the company short of consultants though. Over 1,300 people picked up a leaflet to host a tasting of their own and there are a number of pockets in the country where there's still no representation from My Secret Kitchen.
